So you think you’d like to submit to Ringo Jones Productions? First of all, good on you! That takes guts and guts are in short supply these days. But guts and a quarter will only get you fifteen minutes of parking so here are the guidelines to follow if you’d like to submit your work for Ringo Jones to evaluate.
PLEASE NOTE: Ringo does not publish non-fiction, poetry, cook-books, travelogues, memoirs, self-help books, manifestos, or philosophical dissertations. What Ringo does publish is serialized fiction, pre-existing multi-book stories that can be published in 2-3 book waves allowing readers to enjoy the series at their own pace. Please do not submit if you have only written one book of a planned series. Ringo is looking for people that have already delved deep into their mythos.
The goal of Ringo Jones is to highlight authors that write serialized fiction. Canadian authors preferred, but Ringo is willing to bend for the right project.
Please send your proposal to ringo@RingoJones.com
1. A Cover letter explaining what your book series is about and why you think it’s a good fit for Ringo Jones Productions
2. A brief bio including you place of birth/residence/spiritual centre and any publication history
3. An outline of the series containing plot summaries for all books written/planned
4. A sample of the manuscript for the first book. 30-50 pages only please.
Ringo Jones will only accept electronic submissions at this time. Trees are people too and the less paper cluttering up the world the better. He prefers .doc or .docx but will also accept .pdf or .odt if you’re an openoffice user.
Because Ringo is an eccentric he cannot promise timely responses to all submissions, but he will read each and every one, perhaps while sitting on a comfy chair. He thanks you for your patience.
