Ringo Jones Productions was founded in 2005 with the earliest screenplays written by Producer/Director/Writer/Editor/Cinematographer Ian Russell. When the first experimental forays into short film Random Pointless Sh*t, The Castro Kerfuffle, & The Satyr’s Waltz, provided mixed results, it was decided to instead focus on feature films. The Killing Death was screened at the Park Theatre in Winnipeg to rapturous applause and has since gone on to international anonymity on YouTube and DVD.
Additional short films followed like The Wizard 2: The Wii-zard, Guy/Girl, and Zombies in the Toilet, but it is with the eventual release of the as of yet unfinished lost classic Cybernetic Showdown that Ringo Jones made its name as the leading force in no-budget, middling quality entertainment.
Expect further short and feature films to come when Producer/Director/Writer/Editor/Cinematographer Ian Russell finds the time with his busy novel writing career.
